Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Computer Programmer to join out Salesforce Center of Excellence team. As a member of the SF COE team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, implementing and maintaining customized Salesforce solutions. You will collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to understand, anticipate, and meet current and future business needs and ensure optimal performance of our Salesforce platform.

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and Oakland, CA based on business needs.

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.

A reasonable salary range is:

Bay Area Minimum: $109,000.00
Bay Area Maximum: $175,000.00

Job Responsibilities

• Work Scope: Collaborates with internal stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them to scalable and efficient technical solutions. Follows and collaborates on existing Application Development Frameworks and Coding Standards. Solid understanding of IT Delivery Methodology, compliance processes and impact to client projects. Configures and develops customizations, and integrations using Apex, SOQL, Lightning components, REST/SOAP APIs and data migrations. 
• Problem Solving: Exhibits experience in designing and implementing complex system solutions, showcasing excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to efficiently troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Internal/External Contact: May attend client meetings on behalf of team or manager. Collaborates with Project Manager on complex project timelines, identifying critical path, resource assignments, risks, and dependencies representative. Strong communication skills, fostering effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Freedom of Action: Mentor and guide junior developers, test team, sharing expertise and knowledge, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts.

Qualifications

Minimum:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
• Experience in programming analysis, 5 years

Desired:

• Experience with programming languages
• Salesforce certifications are highly desirable
• Agile and Scrum experience
